Hundreds enjoying a free summer concert at the Orange County Great Park in Irvine.

Home to more than 215,000 residents and encompassing more than 65 square miles, the City of Irvine is one of the nation's largest planned urban communities. Nationally recognized for its excellent schools, public safety, and corporate community, Irvine continues to strive for success by embracing environmental sustainability and cultural appreciation through the development of the Orange County Great Park. Featuring fun family attractions, seasonal events, and family concerts during the summer months, the Great Park draws in visitors from throughout Orange County. In the Fall, Irvine hosts the Irvine Global Village Festival to celebrate the county’s cultural diversity.

While student productions are frequently hosted at the City’s schools and universities, touring acts perform at the Irvine Barclay Theatre, Verizon Wireless Amphitheatre, and Improv comedy club. Additional cultural art resources are accessible to residents and visitors at the Irvine Museum, Irvine Fine Arts Center, an independent movie theatre, cultural centers, and iconic outdoor shopping center- The Irvine Spectrum.
