MISSION VIEJO
The City of Mission Viejo is committed to excellence, innovation and service, combined with sound fiscal management. The City, which embraces its history, heritage and future, takes pride in providing residents with an array of impressive cultural arts and sports programs, community events and activities. The City Council is committed to providing an outstanding quality of life in Mission Viejo.
A recent example of the City’s commitment to the community is the development and opening of the newly expanded and renovated Norman P. Murray Community Center. This pristine facility now encompasses 23,500 square feet of richly detailed space that captures the essence of Mission Viejo in a comfortable yet classic “early California” motif. The center is surrounded by lush landscaping, stately courtyards, outdoor living spaces and an extensive array of amenities next to the “Village Green” which accommodates many outdoor cultural events. Today, the Norman P. Murray Senior and Community Center is a centrally located Mission Viejo amenity – providing an array of community and cultural events and programs that benefit residents and visitors of all ages.
