Laguna Art Museum is now accepting applications for seasonal art handlers. The team will install a major exhibition that opens in October as part of Pacific Standard Time: LA/LA, a far-reaching and ambitious exploration of Latin American and Latino art in dialogue with Los Angeles.
Professional experience in art handling and installation is required. Applicants should understand best practices, procedures, and materials for handling and installing artwork; and be able to comfortably lift 60 pounds, work at heights, and use tools tools and equipment for art installation safely and skillfully.
Positions are seasonal and may have a variable schedules, including periods of heavy workloads and overtime.
