Children’s Art Festival and Jr. High Art Show

THE CHILDREN’S ART FESTIVAL provides a wonderful opportunity for parents and children to enjoy a day discovering the arts together. Hands-on art activities, live music, workshops, and much more provide a delightful celebration of the rich cultural traditions that thrive in our own backyards! In honor of Earth Day, festival activities will focus on being kind to our planet, so craft projects will incorporate found and recycled objects easily found in the home.

The Junior High Art Show is held in conjunction with the event. 7th and 8th grade students are invited to create artwork to raise awareness about environmental issues. The show is on view for one day only during the event. A panel of judges will select place winners for each category.
