The Making of the Grand Retablo DVD is free ($20.00 value)with admission to the Mission, while supplies last on Monday, April 6, 2009. One per household and one per school.
Be inspired by the beauty of retablos in the Cathedral of Segovia. Learn about the 480 year old retablo in the Historic Serra Chapel and the influence it had on the design of the Grand Retablo in the Mission San Juan Capistrano Basilica. Featuring Cardinal William Levada, the highest ranking American Cardinal in the Vaticn, and Reverend Monsignor Arthur Holquin, Rector/Pastor, Mission Basilica San Juan Capistrano.
