Handmade Puppet Dreams for Families & Interactive Puppet Workshop with Alan Cook, presented by Heather Henson and IBEX Puppetry
A collection of puppet film shorts for young people ages 2 and up, created by independent artists exploring their handmade craft specifically for the camera. It is our mission to inspire young people and their families in the art of puppetry and film, as well as create opportunities for dramatizing, creating, and exploring aesthetically sophisticated puppetry.

Following the film screening, puppeteer Alan Cook and The International Puppetry Museum in Pasadena, California, will lead an interactive, introductory workshop on shadow puppetry, designed to spark young people’s imagination. Children will have an opportunity to create puppets and view a live puppet performance. Shadow puppet shows are the oldest form of moving pictures. Supplies will be provided at the event.
