    Audiences will have a rare opportunity to see one of the original Tevyes, Chaim Topol, perform the role that made him legendary with his Academy Award-nominated portrayal in the motion picture version of Fiddler on the Roof. Tevye is a humble milkman, harried husband and devoted father to five marriageable daughters. In his little village of Anatevka, there is a tradition for everything, all of which are happily imparted by their earthly philosopher as he draws the audience into Fiddler on the Roof during this remarkable journey through secret love, forbidden betrothal, weddings, devotion and forgiveness, tempered by rejection, oppression and imminent revolution. Never has any musical so magically woven music, dance, poignancy and laughter into such an electrifying and unforgettable experience.
