Join the Irvine Barclay Theatre for the 51st anniversary celebration of America's greatest modern era musical! This Claire Trevor School of the Arts production of West Side Story features Leonard Bernstein's breathtaking score for full orchestra, with thrilling dance numbers and favorite songs including "Maria," "Tonight," "I Feel Pretty," "One Hand, One Heart," "Cool" and "Somewhere." "Something's Coming" indeed, as a pair of star-crossed lovers face the gripping tension between the Jets and the Sharks. Bristling with the energy and passion of the streets of New York, UC Irvine's vibrant production will stir the audiences' hearts and bring a fresh appreciation for this unparalleled musical masterpiece.
