STAGEStheatre is proud to present the quintessential Christmas classic, It's a Wonderful Life?A Live Radio Play by Joe Landry, directed by Rayanne Thorn. This beloved American holiday classic comes to captivating life as a live 1940s radio broadcast. With the help of an ensemble that brings a few dozen characters to the stage, the story of idealistic George Bailey unfolds as he considers ending his life one fateful Christmas Eve. Each of the five actors takes on several roles as the production of the timeless Christmas staple shows us the story of George Bailey, a guy down on his luck, thinking everyone would be better off if he were never born. George's despair is heard by an angel who, in an attempt to get his wings, tries to help show him what life would have been life if he wasn't born. Complete with live sound effects, it is a spin on the classic everyone will enjoy.

      The cast did a great job while each played multiple characters during this show. Young kids would enjoy the show so that they can see what it was like to do a radio show back in the 1940's. My 80... Expand

      The cast did a great job while each played multiple characters during this show. Young kids would enjoy the show so that they can see what it was like to do a radio show back in the 1940's. My 80 year old grandma loved the show as she reminised about how she used to listen to old radio shows. It was especially fun to see the actors act while the guy made props noises of slamming doors, splashing water, glass breaking, and others. This was a really enjoyable show to watch. The theater is small so all of the seats were great too. Collapse
