    The Studio Art Department of the Claire Trevor School of the Arts at UC Irvine announces the opening of BETAMAX, an exhibition by the second year MFA candidates whose work shares a nuanced and expanded approach to criticality and conceptualism. Participating student artists include Shane Quentin, Alison O'Daniel, Mimi Lauter, Nina T. Becker, Simon Hughes, Betsy Seder, April Friges, Andrew Printer, Jenny Yurshansky, and Stephen Walters. Opening Reception: February 19, 2009, 6:00pm-9:00pm.
