The Book of Tink Written by Erik Ehn Directed by Jim Knipple The Book of Tink, from visionary playwright Erik Ehn, is a phantasmagorical re-imagining of the Peter Pan story. When the very fabric of Everland is threatened by a manipulative and controlling Wendy, a band of fairies?led by Tinkerbell and aided by Captain Hook and a chorus of Mermaid Prostitutes?mount a defense. Nana, the Darling Children, and the Lost Boys take on new lives in this highly poetic, visceral, and visually stunning exploration of "the savagery of innocence" and the necessity of the imagination.

      I saw this play on 3/7/09/. I went with my mother and mother-in-law. The room you are in is rather small, but it was interesting being on the same floor as the performers. Although the costumes were... Expand

      I saw this play on 3/7/09/. I went with my mother and mother-in-law. The room you are in is rather small, but it was interesting being on the same floor as the performers. Although the costumes were not very good (one mermaid had LA dodgers gloves as fins) they were creative. The story itself was very confusing. Spoilers: Tinker Bell is in love with Hook, Hook is in love with Peter Pan, and Wendy is in love with Peter Pan. I also didn't understand why Wendy would reference Peter as her son and then later call him her father and then try to kiss him. All together it was strange, and we were not the only ones leaving there confused. Some people didn't even come back for the second half. Oh and by the way, if you are not a senior citizen be prepared and dressed to sit on the floor, on a square of carpet. The room was so small that they didn't have enough chairs for the audience.       I saw this play on 3/7/09/. I went with my mother and mother-in-law. The room you are in is rather small, but it was interesting being on the same floor as the performers.
