This exhibit takes visitors on a journey to distant lands such as Japan, Indonesia, Alaska, South America, and Hawaii in order to learn about some of the world's most awe-inspiring volcanoes and cultures. Activities in this exhibit include creating earthquakes in the Rumble Room, dressing up in the style of the cultures featured in the exhibit, learning about volcanology and the scientists who explore and study volcanoes, watching real footage of volcano eruptions, navigating throughout the exhibit with a field guide and map of the Ring of Fire, and watching model volcanoes erupt.
