Family Days at the Beall Center for Art and Technology offer free, hands-on art and science activities for children of all ages. Come to the Beall Center and be amazed as you learn about the principles of light, vision, and other optical phenomena, discover the wonderful world of 3-D modeling and precision laser cutting, design a new digital species using images from the internet, collaborate with others on an art project, and more. Family Day is held in conjunction with the current exhibit "EX-I-09" by Artist Shih Chieh Huang. Combining recycled materials and stripped electronic parts from everyday objects, Shih Chieh Haung creates a colorful interactive world that is both familiar and strangely foreign.
