Part II of the MFA Thesis Exhibition, with an opening reception on May 14, 2009, 5:00pm. "Set Pieces" will showcase works by Claire Trevor School of the Arts graduate students Marcus Civin, Laurel Frank, Jen Smith, Sean Sullivan, Grant Vetter and Maya Weimer. The show features the students' work at the culminating point of their graduate study, and subjects of the art range from architecture and the environment to sexuality, globalization and violence. Performances by Civin, a text and prop-driven artist, will be feature during the reception.
