Vesta Curry Hat Auction

The spectacular hat collection that became the hallmark of arts philanthropist Vesta Curry will be auctioned during Un Cabaret et des Chapeaux, a luncheon. Singer, actor and recording artist, Davis Gaines, one of Curry's favorite singers will perform at the luncheon. Proceeds from the afternoon will benefit equally the youth education programs of Pacific Symphony and the Orange County Performing Arts Center. Curry, who passed away last year and who was a big member of both organizations, was renowned for her elaborate and sometimes awe-inspiring hats. One hundred and thirty of the unique creations will be offered in both a silent auction and live auction lead by Chuck Dreyer.
