Shen Yun Performing Arts has performed to acclaim in 70 cities worldwide during 2008. Based in New York, Shen Yun Performing Arts is reviving the long-lost treasures of China by presenting a series of original performances across the globe. Its shows transport audiences to a land of beauty and enchantment, leaving them uplifted and inspired. The performances combine ancient technique with modern technology. Involving hundreds of talented dancers and musicians, original scores, live orchestra, and custom-designed digital backdrops, these pieces of artistry delight the senses, touch the heart and move the soul. The cultural renaissance of Shen Yun Performing Arts centers on classical themes and Chinese traditions that truly define "Beauty" and "Compassion." The show brings the true spirit of Chinese culture to life, free of any distortions from the Chinese Communist Party. The content of all programs is expressed in Chinese, English and local languages.
