Photographer Ron Wilson, describes his work in this way: "My photography is an extension of literature. My poetry, love of dance and movement and a recent heart transplant allow me to share the creativity that is beating inside of me." Carol Stanley's work embodies a sense of spirit and emotion. The "Summer Do" series leaves the viewer feeling uncertain about the models' reality. Her shots of Newport Beach at night capture the juxtaposition of light and night, negating the relaxed feel normally associated with the beach scene. Wendell Stanley, a unique combination of artist and scientist, built his own darkroom at age 16 and has been a photographer ever since. He is known for his extensive body of work of the Sierra Nevada Mountains; however, in this show he is diversifying his presentation to include portraiture. "Two Cousins," a portrait which is both engaging and captivating, will be part of the exhibit.

      Transporting aesthetic experience!!! This small, intimate gallery's simple, unencumbered lay-out and well-configured lighting showcases these three artists incredibly well. Their works are so different yet amazingly complementary. Having had galleries of my own, I'm more familiar than most with the challenges of lighting, display, viewer perspectives, etc. The gallery owners know their profession: showcase their artists' work like the fine "jewels" they are, with no distractions. As far as the individual artists' work, I was most moved by the portraiture of Ron Wilson. The quality of communication and empathy embedded in his images soars into the spiritual. It has to be seen/experienced to be believed. I like the other artists' work as well but Ron's was especially and personally moving for me. Collapse

      Transporting aesthetic experience!!! This small, intimate gallery's simple, unencumbered lay-out and well-configured lighting showcases these three artists incredibly well. Their works are so different yet amazingly complementary.
