Dick Dale's style is something different and unique. Since his first appearance in Balboa, California, at the famed Rendezvous Ballroom, he has set and broken attendance records everywhere he's performed.

      Saw Dick this past Saturday nite at the Coach house. What a great show!! I forgot to grease the palm of the "usher" as we entered, but it didn't matter since every seat was a good one. The place was... Expand

      Saw Dick this past Saturday nite at the Coach house. What a great show!! I forgot to grease the palm of the "usher" as we entered, but it didn't matter since every seat was a good one. The place was almost already full, and we still had forty minutes till showtime. The coach house staff would do well to change out a few burned out overhead light bulbs as well as repair the nonworking ceiling fans. I would think tank-tops to be the choice of clothing when it gets a little later into the summer, cuz it got warm in there. After the two warm-up bands were done and gone, Dick got the place rock'n. I'm 62 years so I've listened to his original first recordings, but have never heard him live. He was very impressive and entertaining not to mention his blazing guitar skills. A true gentleman who took the time to engage his audience and also aknowledge charities that he's involved with. His supporting band, all two of them (drummer and bassist) were excellent.
