Chapman University presents the West Coast premiere of a new documentary by Pamela Park telling the heroic story of U.S. "Polar Bear" forces fighting in arctic Russia during WWI. Stripped of everything American and quartered in a frozen hell, they endured the ultimate test of skill, strength and loyalty to country. This is the compelling and true history of one of the most decorated regiments of the First World War. "It was the voices of the soldiers - those eloquent words in the young men's diaries that made these men so real," says Peake, the writer, director and producer. "It's almost as if they were waiting for someone to 'hear their voices' long after they were gone. As a writer I simply reached back into time and listened. A more powerful story I have never heard. Their voices now live on to inspire a new generation."

Pamela Peak's effort is unchallenged but the end produce was painfully bad. The acting and voice overs were terrible and unbelievable. Given what Pamela had to work with, I think it would have been... Expand
