A fascinating exhibition that presents a treasury of gold Rush era events a treasury of Gold Rush era events, images and documents. Spotlights the remarkable stories, of individual Californians, women, Native Americans, adventurers and gold seekers who emigrated from all parts of the world during the tumultuous and colorful Gold Rush era and examines the impact James Marshall's discovery continues to have on all of California's people, cultures, environment, politics and economy.

      I attended the opening preview and was impressed with the information, historical photographs, artifacts, and hands on area for students and visitors. A great value with admission in addition to the regular audio tour. Teachers, come and preview, second Saturdays are 2 for 1 teacher appreciation days, then plan a trip and bring your students. Wonderful authentic experience for all. Collapse
