For 15 years, Gregory Hunter has explored unmarked roads and back-country trails across the west. He searches for the perfect image with emphasis on capturing simplistic beauty. The inspiration for Greg's work is Ansel Adams. He has been fortunate to study and work with several of his assistants, Alan Ross and John Sexton. Greg shares the knowledge of his art as a teaching assistant through the Ansel Adams Gallery workshop program in Yosemite and Death Valley California. Greg has exhibited his work in galleries the Denver and Los Angeles area. He is also displayed in private collections.
