With renowned sitarist, Kartik Seshadri, this program features an original composition by Seshadri for sitar, Saraswati violone bastardo d'Amore and strings, as well as a Baroque string concerto with Sitar continuo. Utilizing both Eastern and Western musical form, this program illuminates areas of cultural synergy which have been lost in these past two centuries. The program also features Dvorak's Serenade for Strings and Barber's Adagio for Strings.
