The great Italian opera start Tito Morelli, known as Il Stupendo, is about to perform Otello for the Cleveland Grand Opera Company, but madcap chaos ensues when he mistakenly takes an overdose of tranquilizers. Assuming the great tenor's death, the company gopher takes over the role. In classic farcical style identities are mistaken, doors fly open and shut, seductions ensue, girls run about in lingerie and the hero saves the day. Lend Me a Tenor is guaranteed to tickle your funny bone.
