Born on a mountain top in Tennessee, oh wait, wrong bio. Hailing from The Garden State , yeah this is the one... three friends and bandmates (yes there were more, but this isn't about them) pack their suitcases, lug their guitars, and head west for a short trip to sunny Southern California. A few shows a few days then they're back in their own beds in bucolic NJ. Now wouldn't that be boring? Good thing that's not quite how it went. ....Upon arriving in the dream factory, Peter, Mark, John, and those others discover their dream, not the one where they show up to school naked, the other dream, the music dream, was well, a reality. The World Famous KROQ , was playing their song, "Anything Anything!" Playing it so much in fact that even Mark, Peter, and John were tired of hearing it.

      I caught the Dramarama show at the Coach House last night and I have to say they still sound fresh and play with as much energy as they did in the 80's. And energy was the key word for last nights'... Expand

      I caught the Dramarama show at the Coach House last night and I have to say they still sound fresh and play with as much energy as they did in the 80's. And energy was the key word for last nights' show as the opening band, The Hard, set the energy level pretty high with a creative blend of originals and covers of Barry Manilow and Van Morrison. For Dramarama, John Easdale is the quintessential front man. John had the audience with him as soon as he made his grand entrance and they stayed with him the entire show. I must say that it was refreshing for the band to play their big hit, Anything/Anything, halfway through their set so they could stretch out and do more obscure material. It's great to see Dramarama performing live and putting out new material. Maybe this time people will see just how talented they are and propel them to the Rock and Roll heights they belong in.       I caught the Dramarama show at the Coach House last night and I have to say they still sound fresh and play with as much energy as they did in the 80's.
