Dr. Wendell Stanley, Professor Emeritus in the School of Biological Sciences at the University of California, Irvine, received his Bachelor's Degree in Chemistry from the University of California, Berkeley and his Ph.D. in Biochemistry from the University of Wisconsin at Madison. His work in photography began at age 16 when he built his own darkroom! His photography is widely recognized and reflects his love for the Sierra Nevada Mountains in scenes of nature, woods, and architectural structures.
