    In 1997, after photographing poet Harry Northup for a magazine assignment and attending several poetry events, photographer Mark Savage found himself drawn and inspired by the literary community. Having photographed over 150 poets since then, Savage collected his body of work into the beginning of his new project, "Souls & Passions, the Poets of Los Angeles". He shares, "Poets are extremely interesting and unique people, which lends to making interesting and unique portraits." Join in celebrating National Poetry Month as we aim to inspire a new relationship within the visual and literary arts in Buena Park. Important Note: The Opening Reception and poetry reading for this exhibit is on Thursday, April 8th from 7:00pm-9:00pm at Buena Park City Hall.
