A summation of his life's work, Bruckner's Symphony No. 9 reveals the composer's distinctive creative genius and sweeping symphonic sound. This 19th-century triumph is preceded by a visit to the 11th century and the rich, worshipful voices and tones of Gregorian chant, accompanied by organ.
