Guest conductor Carlos Miguel Prieto takes us on a trip to the Iberian Peninsula, beginning with Albénez' guided tour, followed by Ravel's virtuosic, gypsy-inspired rhapsody and Sarasate's Fantasy on Bizet's "Carmen." De Falla's charming ballet about a magistrate who falls in love with a married woman precedes the most famous 11 minutes in classical music, Ravel's mesmerizing "Bolero."
