Adam Slater, a child of the sixties – his art was influenced by the incredible renaissance of music, ideas, and entertainment that was emerging during that decade. In 1969 he started his first Black Light, Glow in the Dark paintings. He attended the prestigious Orson Wells Film School in Cambridge, Massachusetts and ultimately received his BFA in Film Graphics from California Institute of the Arts in 1978. While at Cal Arts he developed animation techniques utilizing a special effects optical printer camera for colorizing his hand drawn animation. His work was seen by audiences world wide – in the 1984 film “Young Warriors”. For this Adam received high critical acclaim and was honored by the Academy of Science Fiction, Fantasy, and Horror Films. His paintings have been entertaining people for decades and continue to reach new heights in Glowing Entertainment.
