Recreate, New works by the artist, Iris Heffes. Exhibit dates: September 22- October 14, 2010 Artist Reception, Sunday, September 26th, 1-4pm. Open to the Community “A time to gather stones together” (Ecclesiastes, Chapter 3:5). Inspired by the Bible and the beauty of nature, “Recreate” is an innovative exhibit of figurative sculptured paintings that combine natural stones and mixed media on canvas. The exhibit also features a selection of clay sculptures made by Israeli artist, Eti Zenou, Iris’ mother and her biggest inspiration.
Iris Heffes was born and raised in Israel. She graduated from H I T (The Center of technology education, Holon) with a major in Industrial Design. Iris also studied two years ceramic design in Bezalel Academy of Art and Design, Jerusalem. Today, Iris lives in the U.S. and leads the Interior Design Consulting firm where she provides personable design that includes drawing personalized paintings for her clients.
