    Opera returns to UC Irvine with Hansel and Gretel, the Humperdinck classic that has engaged audiences for more than a century. Siblings Hansel and Gretel escape from the harsh realities of their family's poverty into a dream world of danger and delight. Come see what lies beyond the woods and luxuriate in Humperdinck's post-Wagnerian masterpiece.
