Dazzling Virtuoso Renaud Garcia-Fons Returns to the Center’s Jazz Series with La Línea del Sur Quartet

Renaud Garcia-Fons uses his unique five-string double bass to explore classical, jazz, Persian, Indian, Mediterranean and South American music. His sound is an amalgam of double bass, cello, violin, guitar, lute, oud and more. On his second visit to the Orange County Performing Arts Center November 19 and 20, Garcia-Fons will perform four shows with his new ensemble, La Línea del Sur Quartet, in Samueli Theater. For this Jazz Series engagement, Garcia-Fons will be joined by Kiko Ruiz on Flamenco guitar, David Venitucci on accordion and Pascal Rollando on percussion.
