Saddleback’s Jazz Day offers performances by the aspiring and the inspiring, a day-long event leading up to a must-hear appearance by the Saddleback Big Band and New York jazz trombonist Conrad Herwig. New York jazz trombonist Conrad Herwig has recorded 19 albums as a leader. His newest CD release is “The Latin Side of Herbie Hancock” on Half Note Records, which was nominated for a Grammy Award in 2009.
