The Art and Music of Ostad Elahi

Over the centuriues, the therapeutic benefits of music have been extensively explored in various settings. The music of Ostad Elahi has been gaining attention in the West since its release to the public in the 90s as an unique and powerful music. Ethnomusicologists, neuroscientists and composers around the globe have started to explore the potential benefits of adapting such powerful music into listening programs for improving mood, cognitive states and feelings of well being.

Music for the Mind is an example of sound stiumulation auditory training programs that help make profound changes through the power of music and active listening.  Based on the science of psychoacoustics and set to the captivating and intricate music of Ostad Elahi, this program takes us on a magical journey of the power of his music.
