Lewis and Clark Lecture

“Do Them No Hurt: Lewis and Clark, the Nez Perces, and the West” is the title of a lecture to be presented by Dr. Benjamin Cawthra on Saturday, Feb. 12 at 11 a.m. in the Soldiers Barracks Gallery at Mission San Juan Capistrano.
Cawthra, Assistant Professor of History at Cal State Fullerton, received his Ph.D. from Washington University in St. Louis, Mo. For almost a decade, Cawthra curated several exhibitions for the Missiouri Historical Society, and he also served as a project manager for "Lewis and Clark: The National Bicentennial Exhibition."
The Mission's temporary exhibit, "Lewis & Clark Expedition Across America," remains on display through March.
