    The traditional end to Pacific Symphony's Summer Festival, including the thrilling climax of thundering cannons and spectacular fireworks in the "1812" Overture. Also on the program, some of the most enchanting, exuberant pieces by favorite Russian composers — including Rachmaninoff's hugely popular, achingly romantic Piano Concerto No. 2 — performed by young Georgian virtuoso Alexander Korsantia.
