Sonny Rollins picks up his tenor saxophone and the world listens. He’s the recipient of the National Medal of Arts, the highest award given to artists and arts patrons by the United States Government. The Village Voice hails him as “the last jazz immortal,” and, indeed, he is one of the few pillars from a golden era of jazz likely to never be equaled. Don’t miss this legend in concert as he opens our 25th Anniversary Season celebration.
