    The Chapman Percussion Ensemble presents an evening of sonically brilliant music produced by the sublime combination of struck terracotta flower pots, coffee cans, washtubs, car brake drums, Chinese gongs, processed and amplified electronics, and even a violin! Featured compositions include Lou Harrison’s Concerto for Violin and Percussion Orchestra (featuring faculty guest artist William Fitzpatrick), two new works by faculty composer Shaun Naidoo, Chinese percussive theatre, and Frank Zappa’s twisted rhythmic odyssey The Black Page.
