In this joint concert, Chapman’s major treble ensemble, the 55-voice Women’s Choir, makes its fall debut singing works of Franz Schubert, Francis Poulenc, Ola Gjeilo, and the compositional team of Paul Caldwell and Sean Ivory. The University Choir of some 60 mixed voices performs a program consisting of Renaissance and Romantic era repertoire as well as the choral suite There Is Sweet Music by Canadian composer Stephen Chatman.
