The City of Buena Park Cultural and Fine Arts Division is proud to present a solo art exhibition by Miles Regis.
Based in Los Angeles, Miles Regis is a Trinidadian-born artist whose work is inspired by diverse cultures from around the world. Over the years, the USC graduate has honed a technique that incorporates drip painting and collage work that is both unique and striking. With a style reminiscent of many of history’s great master painters, Regis' imagination is saturated with notions, ideas, and images reflective of a world filled with conflicting interests.
With a broad and enthusiast appeal, Regis’ work has appeared in association with CNN, Intel Corporation, NextAid World’s Day, CCH Pounder, Nicolette Sheridan, American Rag Cie, Manifest Equality, Senegal’s La Musee Borindar, Adobe and several art communities around the country and abroad. He has also teamed with numerous non-profit organizations to gain support for issues such as AIDS/HIV Awareness, LBGT Equal Rights, children’s art education, underserved community development and foreign relief efforts.

Miles Regis’ work will be on display in the Buena Park City Hall Council Chamber from February 28 through April 20, 2012. Council Chamber is open to the public Monday - Thursday from 7:30 am – 5:30 pm.
Group tours are available. Visitors are encouraged to call the Fine Arts Office at (714) 562-3569 to schedule an appointment before viewing. Times are subject to change.
