Laguna Beach Live! is pleased to present a great morning of Gospel Brunch on Sunday, March 11 as part of the Laguna Beach Culinary Weekend. Headlining the event is the very talented and versatile Yve Evans & Company plus 3 special singers. Yve is a favorite in the Jazz Wednesdays series in the Rose Garden presented by Laguna Beach Live! along with her band (she calls it her Company)that is comprised of some of the industry’s most accomplished musicians. The goal is sharing the sheer joy and freedom that her music brings, or at the very least taking the audience on a musical roller coaster ride with Yve at the helm.

A two-time winner of the Monterey Jazz Festival’s Musicians of the Year Award, Yve is equally at home performing Gospel, having started performing at age three in church in front of 1500 people. With her three and a half octave range, music critic Don Heckman writes “She sings Jazz. She sings Blues. She sings Gospel. And she accompanies herself with hard swinging piano backing. Evans is in other words the real deal.”
