Festival Runway Fashion Show @ the Festival of Arts

The Festival of Arts is known for putting on truly unique and imaginative events, and for the fourth year in a row, Festival artists are making fashion their medium at Festival Runway Fashion on Saturday, August 18 from 1 – 4pm.

Just like TV’s “Project Runway,” see who’s IN and who’s OUT this year as Festival artists compete to create the most inspired couture using reclaimed, reused, or recycled materials. This fully produced runway show will feature celebrity host "Extra" TV correspondent Jerry Penacoli and a panel of judges including Jeannie Mai, the host of the Style Channel’s popular fashion makeover show “How Do I Look?,” Kaye Spilker, LACMA Curator of Costumes and Textiles, Lisa M. Berman, the “GoTo” Style Diva, and Sheri Holley, Store Manager at Macy’s South Coast Plaza Flagship Store. Jerry Penacoli of Extra! TV returns in 2012 as host. Free with Festival of Arts admission.

Celebrating its 80th Anniversary this year, The Festival of Arts is California’s longest-running outdoor fine art exhibition. The show features the original artwork by 140 award-winning artists from Orange County. Open daily 10am - 11:30pm July 1 - August 31, 2012.
