PERFORMING ARTS

The SOBECA District with support from Planet LA Records and brand partners including Hubert's Lemonade are thrilled to spotlight local and national acts in the first SOBECA Summer Sounds Series taking place at The LAB, The CAMP and surrounding community this summer. The kick-off event will be at The LAB on July 1 from noon to 7pm featuring local bands and OC Music Awards nominees including Open Air Stereo and Allensworth, The Ultimate Bearhug, Billy Kernkamp and the Brides, OC Weekly hip hop favorite Parallel, The Flux, Brother C and Sister J, and more to be announced.
 

In addition to a main stage in the quad, a satellite stage in the “Living Room” will be home to leading acoustic artists including Ryan Terrigno (of We Are The Arsenal), Connie Lim, Brent Michelle, Orlando Napier and Julia "Juice" Lucafo.
 

The concerts are free to attend, all ages and will include activities and promotions to support local arts charities Sweet Relief Musicians Fund, Music Saves Lives and others.
