Winners of the 2011 Award for Chamber Music and Song presented by the Royal Philharmonic Society in London, the Takács Quartet is based in Boulder at the University of Colorado. Playing with a unique blend of drama, warmth and humor, four distinct musical personalities combine to bring fresh insights to the string quartet repertoire. The quartet is joined by Joyce Yang, Juilliard graduate with honors and award winner.
