The Tentet (actually 11 since Norman doesn't include himself in the number) has been finding new, illuminating ways to use an instrumentation of eight to ten or eleven players in authentic jazz fashion. An exciting evening of music that revives the cool contemporary sounds of Miles Davis, Gerry Mulligan, and Dave Brubeck.
