Green Scene Plant & Garden Expo

The 44th annual Green Scene Plant and Garden Expo returns to the Fullerton Arboretum on April 21st and 22nd, 2018. Green Scene has the honor of being the Arboretum’s very first fundraising event, held on the Cal State Fullerton campus in 1974! It started out as a simple flower show hosted in one of the temporary buildings on campus, and grew over the years into the premier home and garden show in Southern California.

Each spring, thousands of garden enthusiasts grab their wagons and attend this event to shop for plant and garden accessories. Green Scene is the spring event to purchase bulbs, succulents, organic vegetables, varietal plants, garden accessories and garden products. Specialty exhibitors offer an eclectic variety of beautiful and exotic plants, unique garden art, home goods and accessories and more.

Specialty growers will be offering countless varieties of native plants, tropicals, perennials, carnivorous plants, geraniums, epiphyllums, cactus and succulents, container displays and much more. Attendees are invited to listen to informative speakers on topics like composting, water conservation, organic gardening and sustainability. Visitors wishing to relax and enjoy the day can visit the food court and beer garden for delicious food and refreshing beverages.
