This event in presented in conjunction with Women of Surfing: Art & History, the second exhibition in a series celebrating women in the arts, delving into artworks by national and international artists who have an intimate relationship with the ocean and with surfing.

Rika Traxler was a Costume Design Consultant for the movie Moana and provided historical/cultural research and reference material for the costumes and dancing in the movie. She also designed and made costumes for animation reference.
