The Beatles Story: 1967

For their third year in a row, the Academy for the Performing Arts’ Music Media and Entertainment Technology (MMET) is celebrating the 50th anniversary of the Beatles recordings, including a session-by-session account of their most influential period with “The Beatles Story: 1967,” MMET benefit concert. This fundraiser will take place at First Christian Church (on Main Street) at 6 PM on November 2-3. Tickets are $40 for VIP tickets, $20 for general admission, and $10 for students, teachers, and APA Alumni (School ID Required) and will be available on hbapa.org/see. Before the Beatles segment of the show, the underclassmen will perform a pre-show with the hits of 1967! In 1967, the Beatles released LP Sgt. Pepper’s Lonely Hearts Club Band, Magical Mystery Tour EP, and some majorly popular singles. While you are waiting for the great music, the MMET guild will offer opportunity baskets and drawings outside the church.
