A vocal exploration by the Concord Ensemble, presenting songs by Gesualdo, Vecchi, Monteverdi, Marenzio, Schütz, Ferrabosco, de Wert and Luzzaschi. With instrumental interludes by Ferrabosco and Uccellini.
