The puppetry was brilliant, the score was moving and the venue was perfect (size, lighting and acoustics). Only wish they had featured "Tillie and the Wall" in the show too. My little boy loved it!       Outstanding technaly, beautiful and the young stars so talented. My favorite -Tinkerbell(the portrayer was out of this world). Captain Hook - when he entered the scene he was magnificent and continued to be so. Smee - oh my, he sure did capture the character. I am recommending to all. All of it was good Loved it OCPAC you need to freshen up your popcorn. $5.00 okay but it was 5 years old. Collapse

      This show is so much fun! It's loaded with "adult" humor and a cast with excellent stage chemistry. Igor, in particular, was just fantastic! Great casting. Also, "Puttin' On The Ritz" was an exciting scene with foot-tappin' galore. Definitely check it out! PS: While you're there, take a sneak peak of the Peter Pan 360 stage being built on the lawn next to the Richard Sera sculpture. Collapse

      As a season ticket holder for the OCPAC, I sometimes receive tickets for shows I know nothing about such as "In the Heights." I suppose this is a good thing as I have no expectations of what's to come and this show was a pleasant surprise!! It was so unique and different and was truly entertaining. Instead of singing, the main character rapped and while he or other cast members were rapping/singing/talking, an ensemble of dancers sort of just floated around the stage hip-hopping or salsaing. I'm not a fan of hip-hop music, but I enjoyed this nonetheless. Also there was a fair amount of Spanish spoken and as I just got back from a trip to Spain, I was able to understand what they were saying! The story line was simple and rather boring, in my opinion, but I generally enjoy musical theatre for the "production," not the "plot" and the production of this show was fun and youthful. Great casting. Strong voices. Talented dancers. I left the show feeling satisfied and entertained. =) Collapse
